Do you have your bathroom or kitchen cabinet full of various cleaning agents? Many people do. After all, we all want to keep our homes clean. But do you know what price you are paying for ease of cleaning and pleasant smell, and what harm you cause to the environment with all those cleaning agents? Well, it is time to learn because you probably will not use them any longer when you find out what effects they have on your health and the environment. Let’s see why you should seriously consider green cleaning.

As you most likely already know, most cleaning agents are harsh chemicals and often require handling with gloves. Now wait a minute. It is not safe to handle them without glows but it is OK to use them in your kitchen and even your children’s room. Still not getting it? Well, let’s take floor cleaning products for example. Yes, they are convenient and clean well but where do you think they go when the floor dries up? Well, they go into the air and each time you clean your floor your expose yourself and your family member to potentially toxic fumes. These can irritate the respiratory system, while some of the ingredients found in cleaning agents have been even identified as carcinogens. Now, is it really worth to jeopardize your own and your family’s health just to keep your floor clean and shiny? And do not think that other cleaning products are any better. On the contrary, most of them end up in the sewage systems and you probably know what that means.
